Proximity and lasting support are the key factors of our success
Volunteer experts throughout the country identify which action areas take priority and then select the best projects, often led by small nonprofits. Fondation de France prefers to work locally, by funding and supporting nonprofits day-to-day. Which is why, for example, programs combating early school leaving and providing help to distressed young people have been maintained.
Supporting foundations
Fondation de France raises all types of private funds: donations, planned giving, life-insurance, temporary usufruct donation and many others. Donors’ wishes are strictly followed. They may choose a particular project and we are often able to allocate donations to priority programs. In this way, families and individuals can undertake a charitable project and create their own foundation.
